You have pay more taxes and work for longer - the Turner report

In the news today, the Turner report on pension reforms was published and the basic conclusion all around is that people in the UK will have to work longer and pay more taxes up front to feed the pot that is going to provide you with that tiny pension you are going to have to live on.

Are you going to rely on the state /company pension or do you have some alternative plans in place?

A lot of my friends that I posted this question to don't and I was really surprised as some of these ladies are at the top of their professions and industries and make 6 figure salaries but even they don't have any concept of financial planning.

That is the trend that I am seeing and I am hoping to redress this and empower all women to learn to make some solid financial plans for their future.

This Thursday is A day in the pension world where a lot of pension reforms are going to take place. If you want to read more about this and how it affects you have a look at this article.
